Nice view from street. Too much pressure in Tl44 stream. Sending debris everywhere and could have pushed fire back into cockloft. Surprised how bad condition that cornice seemed. Burned away pretty quick. Stay safe R

Is it not possible to attack the fire with ladder unit after the primary search for victims is complete?

Great Work ( Again ! ), Skyler ! I'm Not a FF. I have tho', Been to or Watched 100 Fires & Worked at Dozens as an EMT. And, I Just Gotta' Say - Those Moves by 44 Bucket were just about The Stupidest Thing I've Ever Seen. If I were an FDNY Officer o/s I would've had whoever was Operating that bucket Drug & Alcohol Tested. (Unless, of course, he or she is Just Effen' Stupid,).

Hot damn Skyler they did it again! Damn fine work by FDNY though I’ll bet those guys in Tower Ladder 31 got a little warm hitting that cornice with the bucket. Great video. Seems these big ones hit whenever the sun acts up. Big solar flare due Thursday. I’d expect more of these.
